DBQ rubric

A

2-4 sentences of historically specific context (1 point)
thesis: (1 point) because A and B (argument)

Evidence Points (3 points)
-DESCRIBE 4 documents (Document 4 says…)
-how 4 documents SUPPORT topic (This shows that…)
-EXPLAIN how the 2 document’s HAPP is important
H- place doc in larger historica context
A- why important to know to whom it is written
P- purpose what doc intended to do
P- POV why do they say what they say when they say it

EX. the historical situation of this document is X that matters because of Y
EX. The Audience Of This Document was x, and that suggests that..
