led by Nathaniel Bacon, many farmers and indentured Servants came together to form a militia armed conflict against govebor because wouldnt drive out Native Americans to achieve land in Virginia
led to burning of Jamestown and indentured servants were now seen as unreliable and led to switch to enslaved Africans
