  • males are often given best jobs and therefore earn more each year
  • the healthcare system is often aimed at males but female nurses are also employed but rarely

Argue industrialisation is crucial for independent development but countries must control their own development, not the west.
Argue colonialism has made developing almost impossible for developing countries.

A

Underdeveloped countries cannot develop because of poverty due to wars.
War wouldn’t be the leading factor for underdevelopment and would not solve any disputes regarding development as they aren’t in the position to develop anyway.
