What is standardisation?
Making sure each product is always the same size, quality, based on their pattern.
What is quality control?
Checking that each product meets the same high standard before selling it.
Why is hygiene important?
To protect the health of customers and ensure a clean production environment.
Why is good packaging important?
It protects the product, gives info, looks attractive, and helps with marketing.
What must be on a food label?
Product name, net weight, ingredient list, allergens, date of manufacture, business name and contact info.
What must be on a clothing label?
Type of fabric, fibre content, size, and care instructions.
What is good product presentation?
Neat, attractive packaging that suits the target market.
