Q

Not quite at ease, half shy, half assertive, act one

A

Represents cracks and family Erica‘s immediately described as someone who is uncomfortable as part of the burning family and separates him from them straight away. He seems too shy and unsure around his own family which should just our family relationship straight away. This could be led from judgement from family members making him too afraid to step up or be himself or show his problems and views.
Eric is also treated like a child his parents think of him as a child and do not take him seriously he feels like he cannot be himself around them. This as to the idea that other class families present fake images to protect their reputation because it is known that Mr Berlin and his family only care about their reputation to protect themselves and not care about others.
