(8 cards)

1
Q

Q

as filtrate flows along the nephron, useful substances are selectively reabsorbed back into the blood, name them and where they are reabsorbed?

A

all glucose is reabsorbed from the proximal convolted tubule so that it can be used in respiration. (active transport)

sufficient ions are reabsorbed, excess arent

sufficient water is reabsorbed from a collecting duct into the bloodstream by osmosis.
