A

A Decca Tree setup uses three omnidirectional microphones arranged in a “T” pattern outlining a triangle, often equilateral; the center microphone is mixed with the two spaced microphones to fill the “hole in the middle” in their imaging; it points the sound source.

Q

How many channels can u send to an aes protocol

A

2 channels. The cables look like XLR cables but have more ohms. AES is more suitable for longer cable runs than coaxial connections so recording studios use them

Q

DAC converter

A

take digital samples that make up a stored recording and turn it back into a nice continuous analog signal. To do that, it needs to translate the bits of data from digital files into an analog electrical signal at thousands of set times per second, otherwise known as samples.
