What are food chains and food webs
A
They show feeding relationships between different organisms in the habitat

What is a pyramid of numbers?
A
It shows the number of organisms at each level of a food chain.
The size of each bar shows the number of organisms.
Generally fewer organisms as you go up because energy is lost e.g. By movement.
Sometimes an unusual shape if organisms are very different in size.

Give 2 examples of food chains?
A
10,000 Grass plants - 1000 caterpillars - 5 robins - 1 sparrowhawk.
1 rose bush - 1000 aphids - 50 ladybirds.
