- Atkins or Zone, less than 100g CHO or less than 30% of food is CHO
- Promotes Fat oxidation when CHO is present, Rapid weight loss, better adherence, decrease CHO dependancy and increase keytone utility
- Greater weight loss than low fat, decrease in BP, TG, HDL
- Low energy, bad breath, poor ability to train due to low energy, less LDL-cholesterol improvement

- High satiety, energy demanding to store excess, tastes good, preserves FFM
- Weight loss in line with Low Carb, Helpful to prevent regain of weight after weight loss
- Poor quality of food? Low energy due to Low CHO and poor nutirtion
