Define the CLB phase
Phase that extends from the point where the PA >1500FT above the departure airfield to the TOC for 1st cruise level entered on PERF INIT pg.
What has to happen for the FMS to enter cruise phase
FMS requires actual altitude to equal both FMS cruise alt and NCP set alt +/- 150ft

What are the two possible options for fuel on board?
- Sensed
- Calculated

What is the most accurate way to check the accuracy of the flightplan?
LEGS page and crosscheck distance, airways and courses.
How to go direct to a waypoint?
Take waypoint into scratchpad, place at top of legs. Verify course and distance.
If LNAV is engaged, what would happen if you enter a PPOS hold?
- A new waypoint is created on legs page labelled PPOS.
- A route discrepancy is placed in legs immediately following the hold.
- The route is removed from the display.
How to exit a hold?
- Select hold pattern page and line select LSK R6, EXIT HOLD.
- Direct To a down track waypoint.

How to tell what active runway is in the FLPLN?
DEP ARR page, go in to DEP of airfield of departure. Active runway will have next to it

Based on distance from present position, with sealed RWYs at a greater length than 3000ft (Navaids & other facilities not considered)
What changes sequencing-wise when TOGA is depressed in the MAPP?
WYPT sequencing changes from MANUAL to AUTO
