GALATIANS 6

Ἀδελφοί, ἐὰν καὶ προλημφθῇ ἄνθρωπος

Brothers, if any person is overtaken

ἔν τινι παραπτώματι

is overtaken by some transgression

ὑμεῖς οἱ πνευματικοὶ

you who are spiritual

καταρτίζετε τὸν τοιοῦτον

should repair such a man

ἐν πνεύματι πραΰτητος

in the spirit of gentleness

σκοπῶν σεαυτὸν

μὴ καὶ σὺ πειρασθῇς

that you are not tempted

Ἀλλήλων τὰ βάρη βαστάζετε

bear one another’s burdens

καὶ οὕτως ἀναπληρώσετε

and in this way you will fulfil

τὸν νόμον τοῦ Χριστοῦ

the law of Christ

εἰ γὰρ δοκεῖ τις εἶναί

for if anyone thinks himself to be something

φρεναπατᾷ ἑαυτόν.

θερίσει φθοράν

will reap corruption

ἐκ τῆς σαρκὸς

ὁ δὲ σπείρων εἰς τὸ πνεῦμα

but the one who sows to the Spirit

θερίσει ζωὴν αἰώνιον.

will reap eternal life

ἐκ τοῦ πνεύματος

from the Spirit

μὴ ἐγκακῶμεν,

so let us not lose enthusiasm

τὸ δὲ καλὸν ποιοῦντες

for doing what is good

γὰρ...θερίσομεν

for we will reap

καιρῷ...ἰδίῳ

μὴ ἐκλυόμενοι.

οὗτοι ἀναγκάζουσιν ὑμᾶς περιτέμνεσθαι,

μόνον ἵνα...μὴ διώκωνται

only so that they may not be persecuted

τῷ σταυρῷ τοῦ Χριστοῦ

οὐδὲ γὰρ οἱ περιτεμνόμενοι αὐτοὶ

for not even the circumcised themselves

νόμον φυλάσσουσιν

ἀλλὰ θέλουσιν ὑμᾶς περιτέμνεσθαι

εἰ μὴ ἐν τῷ σταυρῷ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ,
