What information does the crew list contain?
The crew list contains the same information as the guest list with the exception of rank.
Why do yachts have a maximum number of guests allowed on-board?
The maximum number of guests is due to how the vessel is classed, such as private, charter, PYC, or LY3.
What are supernumeraries?
Supernumeraries are additional guests such as a nanny, butler, private chef, or massage therapist.
When may supernumeraries need to be signed onto the crew list?
Supernumeraries may need to be signed onto the crew list if the number of guests exceeds the allowed amount.
What criteria must be met for additional staff to be signed onto the crew list?
The staff must be employed by the guest/owner, have a contract for their services, and have a Seafarer Medical or ENG1.
What training is required for staff included in the Muster Duty list?
Staff included in the Muster Duty list are required to complete STCW training.
What is the maximum number of people allowed on-board a yacht?
The total number of people on-board must not exceed the yacht’s life-saving appliances (LSA) capacity.
