When does a building qualify for the BSA Gateways?

A

Under the Building Safety Act (BSA) 2022, a building qualifies for the gateway system if it meets the criteria for a higher-risk building (HRB). This includes buildings that are at least 18 metres or seven storeys high and contain at least two residential units. Hospitals and care homes that meet the height threshold also fall under this category.
