Health related quality of life
Extent to which a person’s expectations are affected by a medical condition or its tx
Ideology of health promotion
- good health is universally shared objective
- there is agreement on what being healthy means
- scientific consensus about which behaviors facilitate good health
- only challenge for health experts is to find ways of helping ppl maximize their health
