1. Discern/promote the value of planning.
2. Be pluralistic and work to represent diverse interests, especially minority interests.
3. Foster transparency in expectations, roles, and responsibilites.
4. Help a community prioritize.
5. Serve as mentors and positive role models, share opportunities.
6. Discern and promote the public interest related to a proposed action.
7. Volunteer in profesisonal planning organizations and planning related services in the community.
