Set aircraft up for best endurance, heading power setting is sufficient

Locate most probable position based n dead reckoning flown. Note this position on your map and draw circle of probability with a radius of 20% the distance flown

Read map using time ground map - look for unique feature to obtain position

use and radio navigational aid in the vicinity to help identify position or consider climbing higher

When you have a positive fix decide to continue, or return to departure aerodrome, or divert and land at another aerodrome

If position cannot be establisghed - tell someone. Advise BN CEN or Flightwatch

Fly in an EASTERLY direction until a position is established on the coast

If all else fails, execute a precautionary landing
