What is the purpose of Part-145?
To define the standards an organisation must comply with to be approved for aircraft and component maintenance.
What type of aircraft must comply with Part-145?
Any aircraft used for Commercial Air Transport.
What does Section A of Part-145 cover?
The technical requirements for maintenance organisations.
What does Section B of Part-145 cover?
Procedures for competent authority in approving and monitoring maintenance organisations.
What must Part-145 applicant submit to the CAA?
A pre-audit report and a Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
What must organisation comply with under terms of approval?

When there are proper facilities, equipment, data personnel, and within the scope of approval.
When is a CRS issued?
After maintenance completion and before flight.
How long must maintenance records be retained?
At least 3 years from the date of the CRS.
How must records be protected?
From fire, theft, alteration, flood-digital systems are acceptable.
