You need 50 hours of Xc as PIC must be in airplane
40 hours of stimulated or Actual instrument of which 15 hours has to be with somebody is CFII
Conditions to log instrument
Log IFR operate A/C by only referencing the instruments under actual or simulated instrument conditions
IFR currency “6 Hits”
Within previous 6 calendar months.
6 approaches
A hold
Intercepting & tracking courses through the use of navigational electronic system
no 6 “Hits” logged in the past 6 CM
You have an additional 6 months to regain currency by performing the “6 Hits” with a safety pilot
Safety pilot requirements
Holds at least a private pilot certificate with the appropriate category and class.
Have adequate vision forward and to each side of the aircraft
Aircraft must have a dual control system

Airworthiness
PIC has to check if the plane is airworthy.

Operator limitations
The bag should have tail number, registration number, and serial number. Placards as well. G1000 quick reference guide and Aspen manual have to be in A/C

Airworthiness Directive
required by the FAA, specific time and date that must be complied with. Emergency AD ground planes, Less urgent AD that msut be done within a period of time. Recurring AD must be done every 100 hours, Nonrecurring only has to be done once. AMOC if you can’t comply it is an alternative way to comply with the AD. Service bulletin are done by maintenance and they are highly recommended
Annual
every 12 CM, must be performed by an A&P with an I&A airframe and powerplant mechanic if exceed the annual the pilot will need a ferry permit. Found in the airframe, engine, and propellor section
VOR
required for IFR operations, 30 days, Dual within 4 degrees, Airbourne +/- 6 degrees, Ground +/- 4 degrees, VOT +/- degrees 180 To or 360 FROM. DEPS Date, Error, Place, SIgnature. Found in orange box
100 hour
only required for hire or flight instruction for hire. Can be exceeded up to 10 hours only to where the inspection can be done. Those 10 hours count towards the next 100 hour. Can be done by an A&P. Airframe, engine, and propellor section
GPS
VFR operation doesn’t have to be updated. IFR it has to be updated 56 days for obstacles and 28 days for navigation. Terrain and moving map updated as needed. Can be done by Anybody and no maintenance has to be recorded for this
Altimeter/Pitot static
24 CM, has to be done by a certified repair station, part 145
