• Original copies of PRC certificate of registration and school diploma should be
displayed in the main office and a copy in the other branches

• Display of the PRC certificate of registration and school diploma of licensed dental associates and assistants is optional but encouraged

Signages not allowed
- Unprofessional title of practice
– Dental spa, club, holiday, resort, etc.. - Unauthorized use of title of a specialty
- Unauthorized design
– Personalized logo for single propreitorship or partnership
– Picture of dentist, caricatures or cliparts
– Terms such as xrays, gas, airabrasive, dental laboratory, air
conditioned, laser and other technical terms
– Comical or informal fonts

- Neon lights
- Motion signages
- Promos and discounts
- Sponsors or any form of product endorsements
- Other titles given by orgs. not recognized by
PRC BOD - Misuse of terms meant to mislead the public

• Dentists shall consider the dignity of the profession before providing professional
opinion or endorsement of professional/ proprietary products and techniques
• Dentists shall not give direct testimonials or endorsement of products for the delivery of
dental care

• Dentists shall not solicit patients personally
• Dentists shall not employ his patients, agents or agencies to solicit patients for him

Dentists shall not offer/ accept rebates or commissions for referral, nor engage in any
promotional activity which will be degrading the dignity of the profession

• Dentists shall use newspaper announcements
only when:
– Opening a new clinic
– Changing locations
– Limiting the character of the dentists’ practice
• The newspaper announcements shall not be

– A listing of accredited insurance companies
