Name and explain the 3 Interpersonal roles :
Figurehead : Performs routine duties of legal or social nature. Think of them as the face of the organization for formal events.
Leader : Responsible for motivating and directing employees
Liaison : Maintains a network of outside contacts who provide favours and info
Name and explain the 3 Informational roles :
Monitor : The manager gathers a wide variety of information from both inside and outside the organization. They act like the organization’s nerve center for information.
Disseminator : After collecting information (as a monitor), the manager passes relevant information on to employees within the organization.
Spokesperson : Transmits info to outsiders about orgs plans, policies, actions and results - this bra is an expect on the orgs industry
Name and explain the 4 Decisional roles :
Entrepreneur : Searching the orgs and its environment for opportunities and starting projects to bring about change
Disturbance Handler : Responsible for corrective action when the org faces important unexpected disturbances.
Resource Allocator : Making or approving significant organizational decisions.( money, people, equipment)
Negotiator: Responsible for representing the org at major negotiations (WOOOWIE the negotiator negotiates)
