T2 is usually the darker one
When filming the lower arm you must also film what else
The elbow
What is it called when there is a fracture across the upper or lower portion of the shaft of the bone and it does not affect the growth plate
Metaphyseal fracture
What is known as a “buckle fracture” where the topmost layer if the bone on one side of the bone is compressed and it causes the other side to bend away from the growth plate (stable fracture meaning the broken pieces of the bone have not separated)
Torus fracture
What kind if fracture is known to extend through a portion of the bone causing it to bend on the other side?
Green stick fracture
What fracture is seen in the forearm of children that affects both bones of the forearm, usually resulting in a fracture if the ulna and the head of the radius is dislocated
Monteggia fracture
What is the fracture that affects both bones of the forearm and there is usually a displaced fracture in the radius and dislocation of the ulna at the wrist where the radius and ulna come together
Galeazzi fracture
A growth plate fracture is also called?
Physeal fracture
What fracture occurs across the growth plate
Physeal fracture (growth plate fracture)
