Problems and difficulties animation faces Flashcards
(5 cards)
What are the problems and difficulties that animation faces?
Common issues include:
* Attention problems,
* Disappearance of important info,
* Complexity of data, and
* reduced user Confidence in animated content.
What is the ‘Attention’ problem in animation?
In visually rich or animated content, users may not know where to focus or what actions to take, which reduces clarity and effectiveness.
What is the ‘Disappearance’ issue in animation?
Because animations constantly change, users might miss key information that appears and disappears quickly—this makes it easy to overlook important details.
What is the ‘Complexity’ issue in animation?
Animations can overwhelm users with too much data or visual overload, especially with powerful hardware and large datasets—making comprehension difficult.
Why do animations sometimes reduce user confidence?
Users are more familiar with static graphics than animated ones. As a result, they may feel less confident in what they learn from animations and may not trust them as much.
