1st Generation computers, were charaterised by thier use of vaccum tubes, and example was the ENIAC (Electronic Numeric Integrator and computer)
2nd Generation computers were characterised by thier use of transistors, and example being in the UNIVAC (Universal Automatic Computer)
3rd Generation computers, were charaterised by thier used of integrated circuites and introduced perrsonal computers.
4th Generation computers, are characterised by thier use of microprocessors
5th Geration computers are characterised by thier use of artificial Intelligence technology.
