5. Mobile phones not to be used within 1 meter of any fuel source
6. Fuelling to be suspended during severe electrical storms in the vicinity

Whenever Wide Cut Fuel is uplifted: (3 items)
o An AML entry must be made
o No passengers on board
o Nor for the next two refuels
Following a fuel spill, If personnel are evacuated, the safe area is XXX meters upwind and upslope of the spill

Fuel LMC tolerance:
Captain may adjust the FINAL Loadsheet ±1,000kg taking into account not to exceed and regulated or authorised maximum weights
Preparing for Fuelling with Passengers On board (8 points):
A means of communications between the Cabin Crew and those working on the Ramp should be available
Ensure minimum Cabin Crew are present
SCCM to remain near the boarding door
“No Smoking” signs = ON
“Seatbelts” signs = OFF
Emergency Exit Lights = Armed
PA system serviceable or alternative procedure in use
Crew informed that refuelling is taking place and make a suitable announcement
Dont Fuel within XXX meters of Radar or HF

Rules regarding: Fuel Spills… 7 points:
Immediately stop the fuel flow in the event of any spill
Small spills to be covered in absorbent material and removed
In the case of a spill larger than 2 meters inform the TRM who will alert the airport fire services
Stop all movement of persons and vehicles through the affected area
If it is deemed to be a fire hazard, then consideration should be given to a rapid disembarkation
If personnel are evacuated, the safe area is 15 meters upwind and upslope of the spill
No engines to be started within 6 meters of the spill
