What is a desktop computer system?
A desktop computer is a personal computing device designed to fit on top of a typical office desk.
Usually called a tower.
What is a laptop computer system?
A laptop is a portable computer that can be easily carried around.
What is a smartphone/ Tablet computer system?
A tablet is a wireless, portable personal computer with a touchscreen interface.
There can be a hybrid devices.
What is a server computer system?
A server is a computer or system that provides resources, data, services, or programs to other computers, known as clients, over a network.
What are quantum computers?
Quantum computing is a multidisciplinary field comprising aspects of computer science, physics, and mathematics that utilizes quantum mechanics to solve complex problems faster than on classical computers.

What is a mainframe computer system?
A mainframe acts as a server for storing and processing data at high speeds and can carry out millions of instructions simultaneously.

What are embedded systems?
A microcontroller or microprocessor based system which is designed to perform a specific task.
