Eye Contact - what happens when two people look at each other’s eyes at the same time.
Body language - the use of physical behaviour, expressions, and mannerisms to communicate nonverbally, often done instinctively rather than consciously
Questioning techniques
Questioning is the key to gaining more information and without it interpersonal communications can fail.
Questioning techniques
Open -You might choose to use this type of questioning technique if you want to learn more about why something happened, understand the circumstances of an event better or listen to someone else’s ideas.
Closed - A closed question usually receives a single word or very short, factual answer
Probing -Asking probing questions leads to critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the topic.

The sharing of information between individuals by using speech

Meetings - when two or more people come together to discuss one or more topics, often in a formal or business setting, but meetings also occur in a variety of other environments.
Telephone -an instrument designed for the simultaneous transmission and reception of the human voice.
Group discussions -a comprehensive technique to judge the suitability of an individual and his appropriateness for admission, scholarship, job, etc.
Non – Verbal
Behaviour and elements of speech aside from the words themselves that transmit meaning.

Body Language - communicate nonverbally, often done instinctively rather than consciously. Whether you’re aware of it or not, when you interact with others, you’re continuously giving and receiving wordless signals.
Written
written communication is the most common form of business communication.

Report - a specific form of writing, written concisely and clearly and typically organized around identifying and examining issues, events, or findings from a research investigation.
Letter - a written message that can be handwritten or printed on paper.
Email - a communication method that uses electronic devices to deliver messages across computer networks.
Social Networking - websites and apps that allow users and organizations to connect, communicate, share information and form relationships.
Barrier
Anything that prevents or disables communicators to deliver the right message to the right person at the right time, or a receiver to get the right message at the right time

Language - Speaking to some with in a different language creates a barrier.
Distraction - This can be movement, mobile phone ringing during a meeting.
Noise - This can be physical noise, such as machinery
Lack of concentration - This can be when you distracted by something/someone or when in a meeting where you can’t see a person.
