Q

Diagnosis of Sarcoidosis

A

EXCLUSION

Ix:

  • raised Ca (vit D hydroxylation by activated macrophages - these granulomas act as hydroxylation factories)
  • ESR, hypergammaglobulinaemia
  • ACE - abnormalities of capillaries (where ACE is made) transbronchial biopsy
