What’s Multipolarity in regard to the numbers of powers?
A
In a multipolar system there are several (more than two) ‘Great Powers’ whose military power is roughly equal, and whose rivalry and cooperation dominate politics in the system. In addition, there are a number of smaller states who do not play a significant role except as they serve as objects of the Great Power competition
