What was the Treaty of Versailles?
Peace treaty that blamed Germany for WWI, imposed reparations, and took land.
What caused hyperinflation in 1923?
Germany printed money to pay reparations and workers, making currency worthless.

A Communist revolt in 1919. Crushed by the Freikorps.
What was the Kapp Putsch?
A right-wing revolt in 1920. Ended when workers went on strike.
