What is Extrinsic Motivation?
when you do something to get a reward or to avoid punishment. driven by external factors.
What is Intrinsic Motivation?
when you do something because you enjoy it or find it interesting.
What is the Achievement Goal Theory?
why people try to succeed - either to learn and improve or to look better than others.
What is The Cognitive Evaluation Theory?
that people feel more motivated when they have control over what they do and feel good at it.
What is The Self-Efficacy Theory?
believing in yourself that you can do something well, which helps you try harder.
What is Task-Orientation?
focusing on learning and improving your skills just for yourself, not worrying about what others think.
What is Ego-Orientation?
trying to prove you’re better than others and caring mostly about winning or being the best.
