Timeboxing Flashcards
(15 cards)
What is a timebox?
A fixed period of time, at the end of which an objective has been met - usually a completion of one or more deliverables
How do you measure progress and success in a timebox?
By completion of products (eg requirements) rather than completion of tasks
Optimum length of a timebox

- a free format timebox
5 stages of a DSDM structured timebox

- investigation (10-20% effort)
- refinement (60-80%)
- consolidation (10-20%)
- close out
(Review after each stage)

Refinement
