what happens as a result of the lumen slowly narrowing?
blood pressure builds up and the likelihood of blood clots are increased
what’s a heart attack?
where a piece of fatty plaque can break away from the artery walls and block to coronary artery which results in it cutting off the oxygen supply to areas of the heart
what’s a stroke?
a blockage in cerebral artery cutting off the blood supply to the brain or through a blood vessel bursting on the brain
