Define mechanical guidance:
A coach uses equipment to help support the performer in their skill or performance

Define verbal guidance:
Advice/ feedback given by a coach after watching performance or a skill
Give an example of verbal guidance:
A coach saying: “you need to use your left foot whilst dribbling through the cones too to be more efficient and quicker”
Define manual guidance:
A coach physically moves the performer and guides the performer into the skill
Give an example of manual guidance
A coach physically guiding the athletes arm to mimic a javelin throw
Define visual guidance:
When a performer can see the skill being practiced or performed in front of them.
Give an example of visual guidance:
A coach doing a cone drill to show the performer how to perform the drill.
