no time to secure head/neck/spine. ex. unstable vehicle, imminent fire/explosion, unsafe area, cpr or aed necessary
urgent move
time to secure head/neck/spine ex. temperature, poison/fume
dont move
patient is stable, in safe area, unable to move without help

dragging patient either using sheet or by placing arms under shoulders.

stretcher against bed at same level, lock wheels, slide patient across

when should a patient be restrained
when they are a danger to themselves or others
