Where can you set up drivers in the software?
Resources > Drivers > Drivers Details
Can users modify or view drivers licenses?
No, it’s a table behind the scenes
What class is a chain lift and hook lift?
Class 2 and 1 respectively
Can a driver with a Class 2 license drive a Class 1 vehicle?
No, only a Class 1 license can drive Class 1 and 2 vehicles
What driving license is needed for clients who use vans?
Regular driving license
Who is the Driver’s employer in relation to us?
Our client
Can you enter another name other than the client? And why?
Yes e.g. create another company under category, enter ‘hire driver’ which would be an agency driver. It allows the client to create an invoice.
Is ‘Pay per hour’ viewable by all users?
No, you need special permissions
What is ‘Pay per hour’ used for?
Specific reports e.g. profitability per truck per day
What would you enter in ‘Pay per hour’?
The employee’s pay per hour + employer’s national insurance contributions
What is ‘Pay per hour’ not used for?
Payroll
If ADR is ticked, what does it mean the driver can do?
Carry hazardous waste
How would you make a driver inactive?
Go to Resources > Drivers > Driver Details and either right click on the driver and select ‘Make inactive’ or select ‘More actions’.
Why won’t the software allow you to delete a driver or vehicle?
Once a driver or vehicle’s been used, the history is needed for at least three years for compliance reasons.
When you drive HGVs, what licenses do you need?
Either Class I or Class II
Why do we need to add drivers?
The skip hire company needs to assign jobs to the drivers
