When we onboard a new client what are the first steps to configuring the system before using it?
Add vehicle types, vehicle details
Where are vehicle types set up in the system?
Under Nuts & Bolts > Vehicles > Vehicle Types
What does every vehicle need when setting it up?
A vehicle type
What are chain-lifts also known as?
Skip trucks, bucket loaders
What are the only types of vehicle for skip hire?
Chainlift or hooklift (RoRo (roll on, roll off)
What are artics used for?
Articulated vehicles, can be used for transporting waste from sites/yards. It would move light materials.
What vehicle details are not optional?
Registration, vehicle type, number of wheels, weighing equipment, owner of the vehicle, date of next regular check
How often are HGVs checked as a starting point?
6 weeks but will vary depending on conditions, load, vehicle age
True or false, for skip hire trucks weighing equipment is typically selected
False. It is uncommon because skips are weighed at the weighbridge
Do skip trucks have compartments?
No

The date of the next regular check
