What advice do we give to clients?

A

Use business categories to segment your customers or suppliers, the companies you transact with, and use it to classify customers by industry (e.g. hospitality, local builders etc) or importance/tiers (VIPs, gold, silver, bronze). Categories are also used across reporting.

A

To compare your sales figures for your Tier 1 customers and isolate.

A

Annual price increase / price changing typically driven by the landfill tax set by the government, driver shortage, fuel prices.

A

Give an example of how Business Categories can be used.

A

If a client has a specific price list for broker customers, a price list could be set under the category ‘broker’ and could be assigned to all brokers. When an order is raised for brokers, those prices will then be suggested.

In the system there are some Waste Logic created categories. What do these do, and give an example.

A

These categories all have certain traits, which when assigned to a company, will enable something to that company. Do not use - This will block any orders being booked to this company.
