The powerful elites of the echelon society. They thought Pentateuch as the only good text. They don’t believe in judgment day.

They were the precursors of the rabbis. They do believe in judgement day. The believed in the entire Tanakh.

Oral interpretation of the Torah, canonized in 220 CE.
The Essenes Community
A monastic community of observant priest. Thought hellenized Jews were corrupt.
