🧠 “Se brega” = street Puerto Rican way to say “they handle / it’s handled.”
📘 Contrast using “pero” and “en vez de” (instead of).

En los veranos en Puerto Rico, yo viraba fuera de forma, iba a los torneos y pillaba.

During summers in Puerto Rico, I’d come back out of shape, go to the tournaments, and get wrecked.
🧠 Virar = to return (colloquial PR), Pillar = to get caught, but here = get beat.
📘 Imperfect used for repeated actions: viraba, iba, pillaba.
