what is fertilisation?
the joining of sex cells
what is pollen like?
a human sperm cell
what does the pollen tube do?
go down through the stigma the ovary
What does the nucleus from the male sex cell do?
it goes down the pollen tube to meet with the female sex cells inside an ovule
what is fertilisation in plants?
when two nuclei join
what happens after fertilisation?
the ovule develops into a seed.
each seed contains an inactive embryo plant.

what does the ovary develop into around the seed?
a fruit
what is seed dispersal?
scattering seeds
why are seeds dispersed
so they can grow without too much competition from eachother
What are the 4 ways the seed is dispersed?
Wind dispersion, animal dispersion, explosion and drop and roll
