What is the Earth made up off
A
Crust - Thin outer layer of rock
Mantle - Mostly solid, the deeper you go the slower it flows and the temperature increases
Core - We think it’s made of iron and nickel

What are tectonic plates?
A
The crust and the upper part of the mantle cracked into large pieces that can move around slowly. (few centimeters a year)

What happens when two plates move suddenly and meet
A
Can cause earthquake and volcanoes
