  1. Physiological - changes in bodily arousal
    EX: increase in heart rate
  2. Cognitive, feeling - subjective appraisal and temptation of one’s feelings and environment
  3. Physical, behavioural - expression of emotion verbally or no verbally EX: smiling
  4. Emotional, behavioural - keeping the emotion present (happiness) or removing it (sadness)
