What is a substituent group?
A group that branches off the parent chain.
What is a functional group?
Groups of atoms that have unique properties.
What are Isomers?
Isomers are molecules made up of the same amount of each element but have different chemical structures, though the same molecular formula. An isomer of a molecule doesn’t necessarily have the same properties.
What are saturated compounds?
Saturated compounds are compounds that have the maximum number of hydrogens possible.

What is the difference between Alkanes, Alkenes, and Alkynes?
Alkanes: single bonds only (saturated)
Alkenes: double bond(s)
Alkynes: triple bond(s)
