Bottom up schemes are cheaper and less expensive schemes run by communities, parishes or charity etc. on a smaller level to top-down schemes. They are usually backed by fundraising rather than solid investments.

A

A top down schemes are usually on a large level, run by government and political influences. They are usually very expensive, and run on an investment basis usually through government decisions.

How can bottom up schemes help people in a developing world?

A

Bottom up schemes are more helpful for those who live in total poverty, as they are run by charities and smaller communities who aim to keep those who cant keep the world a sustainable place to do so. (Cafod, for example)
