What is contractarianism?

A
Like our laws, contract between 2 people
Mutually beneficial (e.g. vet/person), animal not involved as does not have morals

What is consequentialism/utalitarinism?

A

Consider well being for humans and animals equally
‘greater good for greatest number of people’
E.g. murder a murderer?

What is conservationist/naturalism?

A

Let nature take its course r.e. Extinction, no genetic modification
Protecting species rather than an individual

Laws and rules
Some oppose/out weigh each other e.g. speeding/lateness
Outcome doesn’t matter as long as rules followed
