FAC detection is available with at least CONF 1 and

  • Take-off: 3s after lift-off to 1300ft RA
  • Landing: 1300ft RA to 50ft RA

• During Take off roll:

  • Below V1, continue unless there is signifiant speed variation and sufficient runway remaining
  • Above V1, rotate normally no later than 2 000 ft before the end of the runway even with speed below Vr

• Airborne:

  • Follow SRS, if FD is off pitch 17.5° then full back stick if necessary
  • Keep A/P if already engaged
  • Keep Flaps and Gear configuration until out of the shear
  • Monitor Flight Path and Speed
  • Recover smoothly to normal climb out of Windshear

  • Recovery: AP1 and FDs ON, read FMA and correct the modes

- Change OXY flow to normal if no smokes
- 2000’ above altitude, retract Speedbrakes
- CAB ALT below 10000 ft, remove the mask and reset the mike by closing left door of the mask compartment

• PM actions:

  • Signs ON (Belts and No Smoking)
  • IGN ON
  • Request / set QNH

• ROD around 6 000 ft/min,
5’/40NM from FL390 to FL100

• MORA displayed on ND is the highest MORA value within a circle of 40NM radius around the aircraft

PILOT INCAPACITATION

Call, no response, Call again and if no response action

A

• During take-off roll:

  • Below 100 kts, Announce “Stop” and stop the aircraft
  • Above 100 kts and below V1, assess before stopping

• Airborne:

  • If incapacitated crew interferes with controls, Press Side stick disconnection P/B more than 40s
  • Keep or Engage AP1 as required
  • PA call “ATTENTION, FA1 TO THE FLIGHT DECK!, ATTENTION, FA1 TO THE FLIGHT DECK!”
  • Move seat fully Aft /Reclined and Lock the Shoulder Harness
  • Request Medical Assistance (On board/IOC)
  • Request any other pilot qualified on the aircraft type
  • Inform ATC (Mayday) and request radar vectors for a long straight-in approach
  • Perform callouts and checklists aloud (Challenge/Answer)
  • Land as soon as practicable, arrange medical assistance on arrival
