Where does the alimentary tract lymph drain to?

A

Pre-aortic nodes around vessel origins.

Where does pelvic viscera lymph drain to?

A

To internal iliac artery nodes

A

To deep inguinal nodes, through the femoral canal to the external iliac artery.

To para-aortic nodes (note the common iliac artery is considered a paired tributary) (what does this mean???)

Where is the cisterna chyli formed? What are its tributaries?

A

the cisterna chyli is formed from the highest nodes (???) and the lumbar lymph trunks. It is formed under the right crus at L1/L2

What does the upper end of the cisterna chyli join?

A

The upper end becomes continuous with the thoracic duct.
