If the signal is invalid, the pointer is removed
On the ECS page what does a AMBER flow line represent?
an Overheat condition
Explain what transpires between low pressure and high pressure engine bleed sources
The AMS controller automatically selects between low and high pressure air. That is the reason we must be careful when advancing the throttle during engine start. As a result the AMS controller might select low pressure air thus losing the pressure required for engine start.
If there is a bleed leak, overpressure or fail condition, what does the controller do?
It shuts down the bleed air system by closing the engine bleed valve.
If anti ice is selected while the APU is providing bleed air, what does the AMS controller do?
It shuts the APU bleed valve
Where are the Overheat Detection Zones?
Slat anti-ice supply ducts
Bleed system ducts and air conditioning ducts
Can the APU be used for anti-ice?
Explain the Cabin Warm Up Mode
... ??? ....
What procedure is used to avoid fog in the cockpit?
Recirculation Fans to OFF
The Recirculation Fans are commanded OFF

Cargo bay fire signal
Dump button pressed
Smoke is detected in the Recirculation Bay
The Forward Electronic bay has how many fans?
How many fans does the Center Electronic Bay have?
How may fans does the Aft Electronic Bay have?
No fans due to air flowing from the cabin
If a fire is detected in the forward cargo bay...
The SOV is closed and the fan is turned off, thus preventing HALON from entering the cabin.
Emergency Ram Air Ventilation is commanded open when?
