The Hellenistic Period is begun in 323 BC with the death of Alexander the Great. IT WENT until 31 BC with Cleopatra death.

A time of big change. After Alexander’s conquests, Greek culture spread to Asia and Egypt.

Hellenism = process of spreading Greek culture throughout other regions, mostly during and after the conquests of Alexander the Great.
