Hypotension, brady, cardiogenic shock, headache, dizzy and av block

Action?
A
Prolongs the action potential & refractory period. Inhibits the adrenergic stimulation. Slows the sinus rate, increase pulse rate & QT intervals and decreases peripheral vascular resistance

ADULT VF/TACH?
A
300 mg IV/IO, repeat @ 150 mg 3-5min

ADULT PULSING VTACH?
A
150 mg IV/IO over 10 min

ADULT ROSC?
A
1 mg/min over 6 hours
MAX= 2.2 g IV/IO over 1 day
